Below are photos that I taken at the kick off of the Wales v England Rugby Union international match on Saturday 20th April 1985.

Rugby internationals have changed a lot since these photos were taken. The old National Stadium was re-developed in the late 1990s to a modern Millennium Stadium.

It was Jonathan Davies first game for Wales. It was a good start for the legendary outside half. He scored a try and a drop goal.

I am glad to say Wales won 24-15!!
