This is a painting of Tycroes Square by Gerald Anthony in 1969. Mr Anthony owned the grocery shop in Tycroes Road next to the West Wales Garage in the 1970s.

The painting is based on a photograph that was taken in the 1900s before St. Edmund’s Church was built in 1913. If someone does have a copy of the original photograph please let me know.
