People may ask:- ‘Why do you do the quiz?’. The answer is simple.

In 2016 life was not great. To be honest it was awful.

One day (March 27th 2016) I decided to produce an online quiz. I did it to take my mind off things. I shared the quiz with a few friends and they seemed to like it.

I continued to do the quiz, even when things were very difficult. In the first year I had about 50 participants. I was enjoying doing the quiz and I was getting positive feedback.

In 2020 the world went mad. Covid took over and stopped everything. As we were on stop, people were looking for something to do. My quiz was shared on Facebook and it took a new life. I was now getting over 200 participants.

When the Covid crisis eased I thought the quiz would return to pre-Covid levels. I was wrong. The quiz has gone from strength to strength. Most weeks the quiz has 350 participants. Some weeks over 400 people take part.

I am very happy how the quiz has developed. The people who take part are amazing. I thank everyone who has made this a wonderful experience.

The nicest part of the quiz is that I have kept in touch with old friends and I made many new ones.

I hope that the quiz will continue for many more years.
