On Saturday March 9th 2008 Dr. Alun Howells and I travelled from Belfast to watch the Ireland v Wales Rugby Union international. The match was held in Croke Park as the Irish Rugby Union were re-developing their stadium in Lansdowne Road.

The Croke Park Stadium was an impressive venue. It was a good day! Wales beat Ireland 16 -12 and won the Triple Crown.
