This is another photo I have found of Tycroes School in 1977. The photo is all the pupils who took part in the local Urdd competition. I am not in this photo as I had no interest in taking part.

In the front row of the photo are the twin brothers Alun and Owen Howells. They both individually performed ‘Y Wiwer’ (The Squirrel). Alun qualified to the next round of the competition but Owen was not so successful. Many years later I believe this incident still causes some friction between the brothers!
